Choke Hold

Generally I am not the person to fly off the handle. But this time I shall not hold myself back.
My brother Mark Musing (his Blogger ID) Drove down to Omaha Nebraska to pick up my niece and nephew whom we all havent seen in 13 months. I get the news that Mark was going to pick up the kids the day he left. I got all excited about the kids comming home, trying to juggle my busy schedule around so I could spend some time with the kids. I get a few things switched around. Then I got the word that the were not comming and heard the stunt that my former @#$%! of a sister and law had pulled, and I flew off the handle using every word in the book. Event the nastiest word that woment do not like to be called. She is damn lucky she is not in town. She probably would get beat down by my mom and a few other people. People that pull s@#% like this really piss me off. I honestly hope this ends up biting her in the a@$.

Trip To Texas

It's been a while since i last posted. But, here I go. Back at the end of May I decided to drive down to Texas from Wisconsin to vistit my brother and my niece and nephew before my niece and nephew left for Germany with thier mother for a 3 year deployment by the military. It would be atleast a year before I would be able to see them again.

I left Wiscosnin at about 3:30 in the morning and I didn't arrive until about 3:00am the next morning. It took 23 1/2 hrs to drive there. I would have made it there at about 12:00-12:30am if it were not for a couple of delays. When I got south of St. Louis Missouri I sat in a traffic jam for and hour due to an 18 wheeler rearending a passager car. After that everything went smoothly until I got into Oklahoma where I got stuck in another traffic jam for an half hour due to an 18 wheeler that had cought fire that they were cleaning up. Then every thing was good and I got into Texas at bout 10pm and I decided to stop and try to catch some z's. I tossed and turned for like and hour and couldn't fall asleep due to it bieng to hot and humid in my car. I decided to hit the road again. Traffic was moving smoothly until I hit Dallas Texas. Dallas was doing some major road work and they had detours all over the place which were kind of hard to catch. I made it through though despite the detours and traffic cutting in and out at like 90mph. Finally I was about an hour away from my destination and I was getting very tired, I had been up for 22 hrs straight going on about 5 hrs of sleep and I was beginning to fall asleep behind the wheel. I had to pull over 3 or 4 times and get out of the car and walk around a bit to wake up. I got to my brothers house and we talked for a little bit and then we both just crashed.

The weather was just a little to hot and humid for me while I was down there. I will gladly take Wisconsin weather or Texas weather any day. Unexpectedly I ended up bringing my brother and nice and nephew home with me. I ended up staying down there a couple more days extra than I planned on. But, it was well worth it to make my brother happy, as well as the rest of my family. Unfortunately my brother had to bring the kids back after a couple of weeks. But we (my family) are happy that he is home where he blongs

Wonderful Night

Well, where do I start? I was talking to one of my friends last night via AOL instant messenger. Like usual we flirted back in forth for a little bit. And then she caught me off guard a little bit and admitted that she has a crush on me :) . As well as I on her. The only draw back to this is the fact that she currently has a boy friend. So needless to say she is a little bit confused at the moment. She is actually a sweet heart much like myself that does not want to hurt anyone's feelings. I stayed neutral in the matter just telling her it is her decision and I will support her decision 100%. It is nice to know that there is a girl out there that likes me more than as a friend.

New Sony PSP Posted by Hello

Bought a new toy

For you gamers out there I just bought the new Sony PSP this past Tuesday and I love it. Graphics on it are awesome. It also serves as an Mp3 player and later on this month movies will be release so that u can play them on the psp. When you purchase the PSP you get the PSP, a case for it a small compacity 32mb memory stick, leather strap, spider man 2 on a DUO disc, Ear buds, a corded control to play, pause ect., battery and a power cord for charging. And for this you will end up paying $250 for the bundle. The game range from $40-$50 depending on the game and the accessories for it are inexpensive with the exception of the memory stick, they start at $50 and go up depending on the memory capacity.

What a day

Boy, where do I begin? It started out as a tipical day at work this past Friday more than enough stuff to do. But towards the end of the day with a little over an hour to go in the day on a Friday none the less I ended up dealing with a pretty intense customer situation. An employee had made an inappropriate comment to a customer and her son. Needless to say the customer was not happy at all. After talking with the customer for an half an our or so I finally got her calmed down and said I will take care of the issue and see that the necessary disciplinary actions will be taken. Then I had to go have other employee's who witnessed what had happened write up statements on what had happened. After I had done that it was time for me to leave. As I was leaving the store an Assistant manager was talking to that employee in an office. As of yet I don't know what disciplinary actions were taken. Won't know until I go into work on Sunday. Boy I tell ya there is never a dull moment in the retail industry.

Saturday Night

Well, last night was an interesting night. I went up my home town last night and it turned out a few of my friends were up from madison. We decided to go out for a few drinks at a local bar called The Nautical. And the first thing I saw when i opened the door was four of my class mates from high school and the further we got into the bar it seemed like i was at a hight school reunion. Saw a few girls that i had a crush on in there and a few guys i would like to beet up who use to do nothing but harrass me. But all in all it was a great expierence.

Career

Through out my middle school and high school days i've taken various carpentry courses. And thats what i have always wanted to do, or so i thought.... After i graduated from high school I took a year off and then dicieded that i wanted to pursue a career in either cabinetry or construction. So i decided to further my knowledge by taking a Wood Techinics program through a local technical college. The program was only a year long. All the while i was taking the course which consisted of math, english and blue print courses besides the semesters of cabinetry and construction 1 semester each. I enjoyed what i was doing. It felt like i was actually accomplishing something. After i got my technical degree i applied at various cabinet shops and construction places. I ended up doing roofing for a couple of weeks and didnt like that one bit. I dont enjoy working out in the cold any more so i decided that i would do cabinetry. So for six months i worked for a local cabient shop. I enjoyed what i was doing but, my supervisors didnt think i was doing so hot. They said that the quality of the cabinets that i made weren't what they were suppose to be and that i was not bieng very efficient with my time. So i got to thinking that i didnt want to do this for a living any more. I just would like to build cabients in my spare time when i eventually get my own house. I was going to tuff it out at the cabinet shop and see if i improved at all. But January rolled around and i got laid off for a month, they hadent called me back to even tell me when i was able to come back. So I made a choice. I went back to work full time at the part time job i was doing. I seem to be good at working in retail. I am not sure what i am going to do. There is plenty of opportunities where i work. I work for the largest retailer in the world. Always bieng asked if i would like to become a manager. I would do it if it weren't for the fact that if i were to become a manager that they (the company) could send me any where they needed me in the United States. Thats the only thing that would hold me back from becoming a manager. But i dont raly want to be stuck in the same routine year after year. So it looks like i have some thinking to do....

Schiavo Case

I've been following the Schiavo case off and on for the past few months now. I truly feel sorry for Terri Schiavo's parents and her husband as well. No mother or father wants to see thier child pass away before them. I can understand both sides of the issue at hand. From her parents perspective I can see why they dont want to let her die. Terris is technically brain damaged not brain dead. There is a very slim posibility that she could recover from her current state. Provided that her feeding toob would stay in. But from the way it looks, thats not going to happen. I personally think it is cruel that they took her feeding tube out and are letting her starve to death, thats just not right. From her husbands stand point she has been in a vegetable state for over ten years now with no improvement. The emotional and financial impact of her condition is truly hard on a person. I truly belive that he wife would not want to live this way. I most certainly would not want to live that way.
